Margaret Cowan first traveled to Italy in 1972, lived there for three years and continues her love affair with Italy in her twice yearly trips. A native of Vancouver, BC, "Mama" Margaret spent many years in Italy, eating and tasting her way through small towns and making friends along the way.

She discovered the real Italy, where she developed a vast network of local experts in each region who could work with her, in her inimitable Mama style to create incomparable, informal cooking school, wine and lifestyle experiences just for you. The extraordinary friends she has made over the years welcome you with open arms.

Margaret is well known as the author of the cooking school tour bible, Your Guide to 133 Decadent Cooking Holidays in Italy. Margaret speaks Italian and loves food, wine and culture experiences with local people.
