I totally agree. advice if you want to find good quality food at the right price is much better to move in the Apennines in the province of Bologna. Genuine local dishes prepared with fresh, home care, small restaurants and above all the culture dish. A Fortress of Roffeno and also Zocca you can find all this why do not you come and visit us???
are willing to provide information Valeria Vitali

I really like this food/travel article with iPhone apps for food places in Italy. It will be helpful both for planning a trip as well as deciding where to eat when we are there. Thanks for gathering the information.

La Pentola dell'Oro is a unique ristorante & Giuseppe Alessi a great and creative chef. I've taken many of my cooking groups there for a really different type of dinning. He takes old recipes and adds a new twist to them. It really is worth the walk to the back streets of Santa Croce to find this hidden treasure. I believe that there still is no sign outside.

You're welcome, Kate! Your blog's photos really brought home the tragedy plus the courage, determination and solidarity of the people in Monterosso. I notice postings on various sites on the 5 Terre floods are less frequent. I don't want to let people forget to go to 5 Terre in the coming tourist season.

Please keep me updated. I've been going there since 1979 and still love it.

Cheers, best of luck,
Margaret
