WHO IS MARGARET COWAN? WHY SHOULD WE LISTEN TO MARGARET?
Margaret Cowan owns a cooking tour company, Mama Margaret & Friends Cooking Adventures in Italy. She first visited Piedmont 's Barolo wine country in 1993 and with her locally born tour partner, has run cooking, wine and walking tours in this area since 1995. She knows and loves this beautiful region well!
She and her tour partners continue to grow their business and offer tours throughout Italy from Piedmont to Sicily.
She is a bonafide Italophile. She first travelled to Italy in 1972, lived there three years, speaks Italian and continues her love affair with Piedmont and Italy in twice a year trips.
For many years she wrote a guidebook, Your Guide to 133 Cooking Holidays in Italy . She visited about 40 cooking school holiday programs, was a client on three cooking tours in Tuscany and Sicily and has led and created many cooking and wine tours in Italy.
