Dear Heather and Margaret:

I just wanted to drop you a note to let you know what a fantastic time my mother and I had on the Fish and Wine lovers tour of the Marche region.

From the moment we arrived at the airport, until we left for Florence, we were well taken care of. I loved the whole experience. It would have taken us twice the time to do these things on our own and some of the things not available to a regular tourist. the hosting vineyards families were most gracious. Your associate Marcello was just the best.

Traveling with such a small group made you feel you weren't a tourist, more like traveling with a friend that wants to show you the area. One thing when traveling that helps you have a great time is to enjoy the moment and to be flexible. We had a little rain which rearranged the order of some plans, but even with the rain it was beautiful. When the sun came out it was even more beautiful.  

The truffle hunt experience was one to remember forever. The beautiful drive into the mountains, tracking with the Truffle dog, and enjoying the freshest truffle you can imagine.

The cooking day at the culinary Institute was great, the Professor chef met us at the hotel in the early morning to lead us to the Fishing marina to greet the fishermen as they were returning from their morning catch. We watched as they sorted their catch. we learned how to clean the assorted fish and shellfish and helped create 6 or 7 dishes. We then were served the most beautifully served formal lunch.  Really great. Thanks again and looking forward to our next trip.
