Cooking Tour Itinerary
Cooking lesson at Fausto's restaurant in Rapallo
Please note: Walks are optional. If you have other interests and would like to do some things not in the itinerary, just let us know and we can change the daily plan for you.
Sunday
Arrive by train in Camogli, Italy. Transfer to your hotel. Welcome dinner at a great restaurant in the area.
Monday
Leave for Rapallo for hands-on Italian cooking lesson on herb and vegetable dishes with Fausto at his restaurant in the hills above Rapallo.
Tour with Fausto in his big herb garden. Picnic there. Drive to a small town in the hills above Camogli and hike down to San Fruttoso (about 2 hours).
Return to Fausto's restaurant for heavenly, full course menu dinner.
Tuesday
Italian cooking lesson with Fausto. Lunch of your creations.
Boat trip to chic Portofino with free time to hang out and explore.
Return to hotel in Camogli. Dinner at Fausto's.
Wednesday
Italian cooking lessonof Riviera dishes with Francesco, his wife and staff in their restaurant kitchen just outside Rapallo and lunch of your creations. Drive back to Camogli.
Free time to enjoy the hotel swimming pool, the beach, shopping in Camogli.
Light dinner in a typical Italian restaurant in the area.
Thursday
Private transfer to Portovenere, Italy. Get settled at 4 star Grand Hotel Portovenere on the harbour. Light lunch.
Free time to explore historic Portovenere---its seafront promenade, shopping street and castle. Lovely scenery!
Wonderful seafood dinner at Grand Hotel.
Friday
Day long walk and boat trip to all five Cinque Terre towns. Lunch by the sea in Vernazza. Walk, take the boat or ride the train as much or as little as you like.
Wonderful, seafood farewell dinner at Grand Hotel Portovenere.
Saturday
Breakfast and private transfer for departure from La Spezia railway station.
Note: Itinerary is subject to minor changes. We will do our best to keep changes to a minimum.
