Waivers

Reservations:
The deposit is due within seven days of making your booking. If we don't receive your deposit within the seven days, we will release your hotel room we were holding for you and cannot guarantee your space. We can only confirm your space when we receive your deposit.

Deposits and Final Payments
4-5 days cooking tours
A deposit of 200 Euros per person must be made to confirm reservations. This deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE at the time of booking. The final payment is due no later than 60 days prior to departure. If we cancel, all monies are 100% refundable. Trip cancellation and medical insurance are strongly recommended. Visa and Mastercard only.

6-9 days cooking tours
A deposit of 500 Euros per person must be made to confirm reservations. Of this deposit 350 Euros is NON-REFUNDABLE at the time of booking. The final payment is due no later than 60 days prior to departure. If we cancel, all monies are 100% refundable. Trip cancellation and medical insurance are strongly recommended. Visa and Mastercard only.

Please note:
For Canadians:
When paying with VISA or Mastercard, the Euro amount will be processed in Canadian dollars at that day's exchange rate. Please note with international exchange rate fluctuations and bank charges, your Canadian dollar amount on your credit card bill will not convert back to your exact tour cost in Euros.

For Americans:
When paying with VISA or Mastercard, the Euro amount will be converted to U.S. dollars at that day's exchange rate. With international exchange rate fluctuations and bank charges, the U.S. dollar amount on your VISA or Mastercard bill will not convert back to your exact tour cost in Euros.

For clients outside North America:
When paying with VISA or Mastercard, the Euro amount will be processed in Canadian dollars at that day's exchange rate. The Canadian amount will be converted to your country's currency on your credit card bill. Please note with international exchange rate fluctuations and bank charges, your country's currency amount on your credit card bill will not convert back to your exact tour cost in Euros.

Cancellations & Refunds per person
Refunds are issued on written confirmation received prior to departure date as follows:

3-4 nights cooking tours
* over 60 days - deposit is non-refundable
* 30 - 59 days - 50% non-refundable
* 29 or fewer days - 100% non-refundable

5-8 nights cooking tours
* over 60 days - no cancellation fee except for 350 Euros
* 30 - 59 days - 50% non-refundable
* 29 or fewer days - 100% non-refundable

RELEASE OF ALL CLAIMS, WAIVER OF LIABILITY & ASSUMPTION OF RISK
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE SIGNING. All parties must sign a release.

I, _____________________________ (printed name) being of sound mind and the age of majority, hereby acknowledge and agree that in consideration of being permitted to participate in activities or programs organized by Mama Margaret & Friends Cooking Adventures in Italy. (hereinafter also referred to as the "Activity" and "Company"), I agree to this Release of Claims, Waiver of Liability and Assumption of Risks (herein collectively called the "Release") as follows:

I agree to RELEASE, SAVE HARMLESS AND INDEMNIFY, Mama Margaret & Friends Cooking Adventures in Italy its directors, officers, employees, invitees, agents, representatives, officials, servants, successors, assigns and independent contractors (herein collectively called the "Agents") from and against all claims, actions, causes of action, costs, expenses and demands of any nature or kind whatsoever in respect to death, injury, loss or damage to my person or property, wheresoever and howsoever caused, arising out of, or in connection with my taking part in the Activity or while travelling to and from the Activity notwithstanding that the same may have been contributed to or occasioned by any act or failure to act including, without limitation, negligence of the Company and/or any one of its Agents.

I am aware that the Activity may include without limitation the following:

a) hiking, visiting farms and cooking in restaurants and private homes;
b) human error;
c) inexperience of myself and the inexperience of other participants;
d) the dangers of animals causing direct damage to me

I also understand, acknowledge and agree:

a) that some physical demands of this particular Activity, on me as a participant, require that I am physically fit and fully able to participate in this Activity and that my clothing are satisfactory for participating in the Activity;

b) all walks and hikes are optional. I can choose not to go on the tour walks and hikes;

c) that at any time the Company may refuse the participation to any persons including myself who are a hazard to themselves or to any other participants or to the Company.

I accept all of the inherent risks associated with my participating in this Activity and the possibility of personal injury, death, property damage or loss resulting therefrom and agree to assume all the risks and waive notice of all conditions, danger or otherwise, in or about the Activity and to pay the cost of any medical attention rendered to me or to my benefit that may become necessary. Further, I acknowledge and agree that in areas where the Activity will take place in which I am participating, that first aid and medical treatment may be given to me by the leader or instructor or medical personnel then in attendance in the event of an accident, injury or any illness during the Activity. Further, that the cost of any evacuation for reasons of health, safety, accident, or as determined by the guides is not the responsibility of Mama Margaret & Friends Cooking Adventures in Italy .

I acknowledge and agree to abide Mama Margaret & Friends Cooking Adventures in Italy cancellation policy.

I understand that Mama Margaret & Friends Cooking Adventures in Italy may need to amend or alter the itinerary or service at any time. This I agree to, without penalty to Mama Margaret & Friends Cooking Adventures in Italy or its retailers/wholesalers.

That I have carefully read this RELEASE and that by entering into this agreement and signing the same, I am not relying on any oral or written representation or statements made by the Company including those in any brochure or calendars issued by the Company to induce me to undertake this Activity.

I agree that I have read this RELEASE and understand it and further agree that this RELEASE shall bind my heirs, next of kin, executors, administrators and assigns.

I agree that this RELEASE is to be interpreted pursuant to laws of Italy and understand that if I have any questions regarding this RELEASE and the waiver of my rights I shall consult a lawyer prior to signing this agreement.
