Reservations:
The deposit is due within seven days of making your booking. If we don't receive your deposit within the seven days, we will release your hotel room we were holding for you and cannot guarantee your space. We can only confirm your space when we receive your deposit.

Deposits and Final Payments
5 days cooking tours
A deposit of 500 Euros per person must be made to confirm reservations. Of this deposit 350 Euros per person is NON-REFUNDABLE at the time of booking. The final payment is due no later than 75 days prior to departure. If we cancel, all monies are 100% refundable. Trip cancellation and medical insurance are strongly recommended. Visa and Mastercard only.

7 days cooking tours
A deposit of 800 Euros per person must be made to confirm reservations. Of this deposit 350 Euros per person is NON-REFUNDABLE at the time of booking. The final payment is due no later than 75 days prior to departure. If we cancel, all monies are 100% refundable. Trip cancellation and medical insurance are strongly recommended. Visa and Mastercard only.

Please note:
For Canadians:
When paying with VISA or Mastercard, the Euro amount will be processed in Canadian dollars at that day's exchange rate. Please note with international exchange rate fluctuations and bank charges, your Canadian dollar amount on your credit card bill will not convert back to your exact tour cost in Euros.

For Americans:
When paying with VISA or Mastercard, the Euro amount will be converted to U.S. dollars at that day's exchange rate. With international exchange rate fluctuations and bank charges, the U.S. dollar amount on your VISA or Mastercard bill will not convert back to your exact tour cost in Euros.

For clients outside North America:
When paying with VISA or Mastercard, the Euro amount will be processed in Canadian dollars at that day's exchange rate. The Canadian amount will be converted to your country's currency on your credit card bill. Please note with international exchange rate fluctuations and bank charges, your country's currency amount on your credit card bill will not convert back to your exact tour cost in Euros.

Cancellations & Refunds per person
Refunds are issued on written confirmation received prior to departure date as follows:

* over 60 days - no cancellation fee except for 350 Euros
* 30 - 59 days - 50% non-refundable
* 29 or fewer days - 100% non-refundable

Waivers

Responsibility

Margaret Cowan Direct Ltd. while undertaking tours, accommodations, transportations and other travel related services, acts only as the agent with clear understanding that it shall not be held responsible or liable for any accident, damage, loss, delay or inconvenience, loss of enjoyment, upset, distress or frustration, whether physical or mental, caused in connection with travel facilities arranged by the company, its employees or agents. We choose the most reputable suppliers; we cannot be responsible for their acts and omissions. Margaret Cowan Direct Ltd. acts only in an agent's capacity for passengers in all matters relating to goods and services rendered. We cannot be responsible for cause relating to sickness, theft, labour disputes, war, quarantine, machinery breakdown, government restraints, or any other causes. Through your payment of us for travel services, you are acknowledging your acceptance of our terms set forth in this notice.
