Itinerary
Wednesday: Benvenuti-welcome!
Arrive in the evening. Meet at Florence airport between 5 and 6 p.m. for private transfer to the estate. Savour a welcome dinner at a renowned restaurant with great Tuscan wines, of course.
Thursday: Brunello in Montalcino
Drive south to the hill town, Montalcino, home to one of Italy’s top reds, Brunello. With your sommelier guide, visit of two of the best wineries producing Brunello wines and sample their wines. Afternoon visit to an excellent winery for a tour and guided wine tasting of their best wines.
In Montalcino visit the ancient Medici fortress housing the enoteca (wine shop and bar) to taste Brunello and Rosso di Montalcino. Enjoy a light lunch of local pecorino cheeses, salamis, salads, breads with your wine. Walk in town stopping at small shops, cafes or bakeries and admire vast rolling country views far below.
Drive back to your estate for a rest. Dinner at a great restaurant, perhaps on the estate.
Friday: Chianti Classico
Ride through the beautiful hills of Chianti Classico area to visit two of the best Chianti Classico wineries and discover their wines. Enjoy lunch with selected wines in a well known restauarnt of the area.

Saturday: Vernaccia in San Gimignano
Walk in the medieval heart of San Gimignano, famous also for its ancient towers. At the enoteca in the castle learn about and taste Vernaccia wines.
Drive to a farm with a winery for a delicious lunch, accompanied by their wines. Return to Florence around 4 pm for a reluctant departure.
