I fell in love with Umbria. It was the most amazing adventure we’d ever had! We really felt Italian. We spent so much time with people who live there. We loved the truffle hunt with the farm family, so warm. The father told us some good stories and was so funny.

Professor Piatti in Bevagna was a fantastic guide. He was born there and had a key to every church.

The cooking lessons were great. I loved the chocolate one. The lesson with Eros was at the convent. When we got there, we saw a big, picture perfect display of food. I was so touched, I cried. The Mother Superior is a dear lady.

The hotel in Trevi was fantastic. The woman manager was so nice to us.

Marcello made the trip. He's an amazing guy. He couldn't do enough for us. He's a long lasting friend now. He's a natural schmoozer, makes connections and gets you in to all kinds of places.
